BWMS Family Update
1/12/24
Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
"Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?"
With this in mind, Big Walnut Middle School is looking to produce a series of podcasts around the topic of student leadership. Specifically, we hope to bring local connections for this production and share ideas around the growth and development of leadership skills for youth. This project was inspired by our selection as a Youth Service America Lead Agency Grant in partnership with Americorps as they have helped fund the equipment to bring this dream into a reality. Ultimately, we hope that the life lessons and leadership from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will continue today through this project to inspire servant leadership and positive decisions for our youth.
Look for the first episode to be shared soon.
Have a great extended weekend,
~Mr. Josh Frame

Any student who qualifies, based on their grade point average, will be notified in January and given the opportunity to complete the application process. At the core of National Junior Honor Society are the pillars of Scholarship, Character, Leadership, Service and Citizenship, which guide the acceptance of members and the activities in which students will participate. A special thank you to BWMS PTO for making this possible by funding our initial chapter fees.
Students who qualify (cumulative simple GPA of 3.80) have received an email from the school with the application details.
