Petey's Post
September 18th Edition
Hispanic Heritage Month
Hispanic Heritage Month was signed into US law by President Lyndon B. Johnson and expanded by President Ronald Reagan that designates September 15-October 15 of each year as National Hispanic Heritage Month.
It is important to share the significance of people and events during Hispanic Heritage Month and to integrate the learning throughout the entire school year. We encourage all of our families to explore the National Day website to learn more about Hispanic Heritage Month. We appreciate and celebrate the beautiful diversity of our students, staff, and families.
Petey's Parent Night
Please join us for curriculum night on Thursday, September 28. Repeated sessions will be offered at 6:00 pm and 6:35 pm. Child care will be provided.
We have been provided guidance by Sgt. Thompson of the State Highway Patrol for safe parking on our campus for the event (parking layout).

Volunteers
We encourage all caregivers to consider applying as a volunteer for Bryan Road Elementary School. As our teachers plan field trips, we would greatly appreciate caregivers as chaperones. We also welcome volunteers during the school day to support teachers. We welcome you to join us in creating an excellent learning experience for each student.
