Principal's Message...
A few of you let me know that you received a strange email requesting money that looks like it came from your own(student's) email account. The district is aware of this and please delete it immediately. Our IT Department has been able to locate the origin and we believe it has been addressed. Please let me know if you receive anything like this in the future. As unsettling as it is/was, you should be good to go moving forward.
Have a great long weekend and Happy Labor Day. If you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.
Mr. Fineberg
Elementary Information
Vision and Hearing: We have vision and hearing testing next Tuesday, September 7th at our Tustin Connect B Street campus for our Kindergarten, 2nd, and 5th-grade students. If your child does not come to school on Tuesdays, please feel free to bring them by for the screening between 10-12.
District Assessments: Reminder that beginning in September, students will be taking 3 assessments to measure their current achievement in reading (Literably and STAR Reading) and math (STAR Math). Please be on the lookout for these.
Middle School Information
Weekly Meetings: Please remind your students to please keep your camera on during class. It helps your teacher's pace instruction, gain insight into where you're at, and we also see improved student engagement when cameras are on. If you'd like, you can always blur out your background as well.
Keyboards: If your child needs a keyboard, we have them available for use with their iPad. There's a lot of typing that goes on in MS and we've found many of our students prefer to use the keyboard.
High School Information
Halfway Through: We are about halfway through the quarter. It certainly moves fast on the quarter system. Be sure to reach out to your teachers if you are struggling at all. Also, if you can come by in person, we have found that makes a big difference.
Senior Pictures: Please hold the date for senior pictures on November 3rd. More details to come, but wanted to make sure our seniors marked their calendars for this special seating and opportunity.
