#PHM Excellence

Penn's Unified Sports is a collaboration between the IHSAA & Special Olympics Indiana that allows students with and without intellectual and physical disabilities to compete alongside one another. The Unified student-athletes would love to have the support of the entire PHM Community this Saturday, May 20 as the team competes and hosts the IHSAA Sectional Tournament for the very first time! The event starts at 10:00 a.m. at TCU Freed Field. Click to watch this video to gear up for all the excitement! Tickets are available at the gate; because this is an IHSAA event, tickets are $7. Let's come together as a community to support these incredible athletes and show the other participating schools what #PHMExcellence and Penn Pride is all about!

Electronic Devices Reminder

As the year draws to an end, I'd like to remind you that per the student handbook (p. 24), students should NOT have personal electronic devices (i.e. phones, smart watches) during the school day. We've had an uptick in this lately as students are wanting to take pictures at end-of-year events. However, a device that is visible and/or used in any way including placing calls, taking photographs, or sending text messages will be confiscated and returned to the student at the end of the day. A second violation will result in the confiscation of the electronic device which will only be returned to a parent or guardian.

We appreciate your help with this.

Field Day - May 25th

Field day will be held May 25th and will be an all-day, indoor & outdoor event. The kids look forward to this day each year! Here are a few reminders on the day:


1. Sun lotion and bug spray can NOT be applied at school. Be sure you lather up before coming to school!

2. Be sure to bring a LABELED water bottle that can be refilled throughout the day.

3. Field Day t-shirts should be worn today!!
