Montera Boys Flag Football
- Opening game was this Saturday. Our Toros beat Edna Brewer 20-6!
Girls Volleyball Updates:
- Clinic is now JV. Practice will go longer on Thursdays - 3:30 to 5:30pm.
- What was JV is now Montera Varsity Yellow.
- What was Varsity is now Montera Varsity Black.
- First games were this Saturday and All 3 Montera volleyball teams won! Montera Varsity Black beat EBIA. Montera Varsity Yellow and Montera JV both beat teams from Edna Brewer.
Cheer:
- Tryouts are currently on hold and will be rescheduled. More information is coming soon!

Make your donation today! The Montera Parent-Teacher Organization funds school needs big and small not covered by the school budget — from essential things like books and classroom supplies to the extras that enrich students' lives, like field trips and music programs. We can't do it without you —your tax-deductible donation ensures that our kids keep on getting the things they need to thrive. Your donation helps sustain our success!
The 2024-25 PTO Budget is: $215,960. We are asking families to give what they can. Suggested donation is $450 per student. Donations range from $10-$2,000. Make a one-time or monthly donation online via PayPal.

UC Berkeley Community Kids' Clinic is offering free eye exams with glasses as needed to students aged 1-15 who are on Medi-cal, Alameda Alliance, or not insured. Please refer to the attached flyer for more information.
Families do need to call in advance to make appointments. The dates and times are limited.

This fall, the Ed Fund is proud to present Oakland Grown: Student Art & Music Festival—a new family-friendly event to raise critical funds for our schools while celebrating The Town’s talented students. We're partnering with OUSD's Visual and Performing Arts Office (VAPA) to produce this joy-filled celebration featuring student performances and visual arts displays, art activities, and to be announced headliner.
