What do you love about working at Prairie Trail? I love teaching at PTE because of the team of support I have around me every day, who are not only colleagues, but also some of my best friends!
Why did you become a teacher? I became a teacher because I wanted to try and make a positive impact on students- especially the students who have the most difficult time learning in the regular classroom.
What's your favorite way to spend a day off? My favorite way to spend days off is watching my own kids play sports that they love, or with longer breaks, I love to travel to new places!
Monica Saucedo - Attendance Clerk
How many years have you been working in education? This is my 4th year working in an elementary school office.
What do you love about working at Prairie Trail? The staff- especially the awesome office staff and the community involvement in the school.
Why did you become an educator? I wanted to work in the education field because I wanted to work the same schedule as the rest of my family, and once I was in I couldn't see myself working in any other field.
What's your favorite way to spend a day off? Spending time with my little ladies and Jesse by going out to eat, shopping, and ending the day with a family movie night.
Courtney Holland - 3rd Grade Teacher

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would it be and why? I would travel to The Maldives. I think it would be amazing to stay in a resort on the water!
Nicole Otten - 1st Grade Teacher

Lyndse Ellis - STEM Teacher
How many years have you been teaching? This is my 14th year.
What do you love about working at Prairie Trail? It is a family environment. I felt welcome the day I arrived at PTE in 2016!
Why did you become a teacher? I have always loved children and watching them learn and grow. I took that passion and decided to become a teacher.
What is something most people don't know about you? I used to go with my dad every spring break in his 18-wheeler and help him strap down loads, communicate on the CB radio, and have bubble gum bubble blowing contests to keep each other amused (we would sometimes be on the road for 16 hours a day). It was some of my favorite, fun, and sometimes crazy times with my dad.
