Mask Guidance Update
As it has been reported, mask mandates have been lifted in St. Louis County and the CDC has changed its requirements for mask wearing recently.
We first want to thank all of you for your cooperation over the last two years, especially this current school year when we returned to buildings for in-person learning. Your cooperation minimized the spread of COVID within buildings and helped us keep children in schools.
We are currently reviewing the updated guidelines as well as the rates of infection in our community and based on this data, will make a recommendation to the Normandy Joint Executive Governing Board at our March 8 public meeting. In the meantime, the current mitigation strategies of students and staff wearing masks in all buildings and on buses will remain in place. We will share any changes to this strategy when changes are approved by the JEGB.
