Our Year 6 students have spent the last two days on camp and fun was had by all!

Children spent the first day at Waimarama Beach followed by fun night activities such as spotlight. Children then camped overnight in tents. We also had a surprise visit from two fire engines when the burnt wedges set the fire alarms off - the children were very excited to see the firemen!

Today the children spent the day at Ocean Spa and the playground on Marine Parade. The supervisor at Ocean Spa approached me to say that our children are the best behaved school she has worked with; awesome children!

The Year 6 children did us proud; their behaviour and attitudes were outstanding.

A massive thanks to my teachers and our parent helpers for making the camp a possibility! Be sure to check out the action shots below!

Ticket sales have been awesome so far! We have people wanting to sell even more. If you aren't able to sell the book you have, please return it immediately to the office. Thanks!

We strongly encourage children to be sun smart at school.

Hats are worn and sunscreen is available for children to apply during the day.

We ask that children wear clothes that cover their shoulders i.e. not shoe string straps.

We are excited to announce that Onekawa School is part of a programme which provides free period products to our students who require them. Contact the office for details.

Please return Scholastic book orders to the office by Monday.
