New Traffic Pattern:
We have included an updated map of our traffic pattern. In an effort to provide the safest and most secure morning drop-off routines, this year, ALL morning drop off will occur in the BACK of the school building near the gym and dining room. Incoming cars are directed to approach the building from Chinchester/Caspian to AVOID the main crosswalk at the southwest corner of campus. The Roanoke Police Department and school staff will be on-site helping us to establish the new pattern
Lunch
Press Pocket
Snacks & Water Bottles
Snacks
We will have a time set aside each day for your child to have snack. We ask that the snacks your child brings are healthy in nature and clean to eat. We have found that snacks such as donuts and cookies are tasty, but do not provide the nourishment necessary to focus and be successful throughout the day. A few examples of healthy snacks are goldfish, pretzels, or graham crackers.Water Bottles:
Be sure your child has a refillable water bottle that can be sealed appropriately without leaks. We have removed the use of water fountains and put in place refilling stations throughout the campus. We ask that you wash these water bottles each night before your child brings them back to school each morning.
