Principal's Message
Dear Parents/Guardians,
With the start of Spring Break next week, our teachers will be having small celebrations in their classrooms on either the 13th or the 14th, depending on what works best with their schedules. You are welcome to send in snacks from the approved list below for the classroom celebrations. Again, the reason for this particular list is because all of these items are safe for our many students with allergies. It is limited because we need this to be a manageable process for our teachers.
We still do not want to have food going through our nurses for screening, as they are still extremely busy, especially with the late flu season this year. The idea is that teachers will have this same list and when they see that an item on this list is sent in, they will automatically know it is safe for all of their students. Any food items not on this list will be returned home with your student. You are also welcome to send in “goody bags” for the class that include nonfood items or the same foods from the list below. We will have upcoming opportunities for parents to be involved at our Fun Run on June 10th and our field days on June 16th and 17th. More details on both of these events will be forthcoming. Should you have any questions or concerns, like always, do not hesitate to reach out.
