Welcome to and welcome back to Inglewood Primary School.
It is my absolute privilege to lead Inglewood Primary School as the new Principal/Tumuaki. I am excited to work with a committed team of staff and students. Our school is dedicated to preparing our students for a future that is constantly changing. To achieve this goal, we adhere to our strong REACH values, which encourage us all to be the best we can be and strive towards learning to think, to be, to do.
At Inglewood School, we believe in strong partnerships between whānau and staff, where students are valued and empowered as active participants in learning. We value the input of parents/whānau and recognise the whole family as paramount to our school community. Our quality teaching and support staff are fully committed to making our school a place where learning is the focus of everything we do, with plenty of fun along the way! We strive to provide programs that motivate, challenge, support, and engage children in their learning.
I look forward to connecting with you all and the exciting year ahead.

Principal/Tumuaki
Lines of Communication .
At Inglewood Primary School we believe in talking directly to the person who can solve the problem.
1. In most cases, the initial contact is an appointment with your child’s teacher.
2. If there is no resolution, then you need to make an appointment with the Team Leader.
3. After this point, you may need to make an appointment with a Deputy Principal.
4. At this stage, if any further action is required, they may refer you to the Principal
Important - School Gate Access
Please note that vehicle entry into the school is now prohibited between 8.00 am and 3.15 pm unless wheelchair access is needed. This is to ensure the safety of all our students. Many thanks for supporting us in this.
Welcome Mrs Belinda Derrick
Belinda is an experienced Junior Classroom Teacher who has relocated to Taranaki from Auckland. We are very excited to have her join our fabulous team here at IPS.
