Here At JRB

A few years ago a new face on the PTA brought up the idea of The Holiday Shop. Most of us were unsure at best about how this would work, and also about how teachers would feel. Now, after having the Holiday Shop finish on Wednesday, we can't say enough good things about it. Teachers and kids alike were smiling as they left the library each day. It took tons of organizing and many parent/guardian volunteers to pull it off, but the results were amazing. Thank you to all that were involved.

The JRB Winter Concert was a great success. We were happy to have this tradition return after a year away. The cafeteria was filled with smiling faces and proud students. The chorus led the way with a four-song set. The beginner band followed up with eight quick songs of their own (and one bonus song). Finally, the concert band played a few great selections. The night was a welcome return to the holiday season.

North Central Mass Sting Registrations are now open! Sting Lacrosse is an organization that promotes the game of lacrosse, sportsmanship, teamwork, and athleticism. We welcome players of all abilities and our goal is to teach kids the proper skills, along with training and conditioning, so they get an understanding of the game and develop a lifelong love for lacrosse!
We are offering teams for boys and girls in grades K – 8 for the 2022 season to interested players in the Ashburnham/Westminster and surrounding area. Register by 12/31/2021 to receive a $25 discounted registration fee. Visit ncmlax.net for more details.
