Green Eggs & Ham Event
All kindergarten through 3rd grade students are invited to join us for a literacy event. We will be celebrating Dr. Suess' Green Eggs and Ham. The event will be held on November 16th from 1 pm - 2 pm in room 6. Students staying through lunch time can meet Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Cable on a paw in the covered patio area by the drinking fountain. During the event students will participate in engaging activities and prepare delicious green eggs and ham with healthy locally grown greens. No registration required, just come and be ready to have a spectacular time.
Literacy Note:
Did you know reading helps your brain develop? Reading allows new circuits and connections to be created. As reading skills develop, the connections in the brain become more complex. Try implementing a nightly reading routine to encourage your child to read or listen to a story. Make reading a relaxing activity and enjoy snuggling up with a good book this chilly fall season!
