New This Week
RHS Student Newsletter
There is no student newsletter this week due to the snow shortened week.
Semester One Grades
Official semester one grades will be in PowerSchool on Monday. Students who missed a final exam (or took one late) may see an "I" (incomplete) for the grade until the final grade is updated.
Charity Week 2024
Reminder that, due to the snow days, Charity Week has been extended through next week. Event information can be found on the picture to the right (click to expand). Additionally, we will be running our assembly schedule on Thursday and Friday. This will allow us to have a fund-raising dodgeball tournament and pep rally. However, to make these events great for our kids, we need your help:
We know some kids feel pep rallies and similar events are a little corny, but it’s an important part of the high school experience. For this reason, students will not be allowed to leave/sign-out of school during these times. If students do not want to participate in these events, they will have opportunities to get some work done during these times. If there is a legitimate reason for a student to leave early on Thursday or Friday (February 1-2), you need to contact the office at least 24 hours prior. Thank you for your support in preventing an unnecessary stressful situation for our office staff and for making this Charity Week a great experience for our students.
2024 Millage Renewals
Don't want to vote in the presidential primary? You can vote on local issues only by absentee ballot or at the polls. Everything parents need to know about the Romeo Community Schools Millage Renewal Proposals is contained in this fact card.
RESCHEDULED: Varsity Boys Basketball Coaches vs Cancer Game

Save the Date
Attention Romeo Parents, please mark Thursday, February 22nd 6-8pm at RHS on your calendar. We are bringing back our State of the District - Parent Informational Evening event. The evening will include a district update presentation along with breakout sessions on specific topics parents can choose from. We are finalizing the agenda for the evening and will share more detailed information soon.
Winter Weather
It's winter in Michigan... we will have snow and ice for the next three months. We will no longer be excusing tardies for being late to school; please plan accordingly:
- If you ride the bus, you won't have any issues as long as you're at the bus stop on time
- If your parents drive you, be sure you are ready in plenty of time for your parents to safely get you to school. They've been doing this for a long time and know it takes longer to drive in the snow. Make sure you're not the reason they can't leave the house early.
- If you're responsible enough to drive, then you need to be responsible enough to get to school on time. I'll share the same advice your parents have probably told you in regards to driving in winter; go to bed 15 minutes earlier, get up 15 minutes earlier, leave your house 15 minutes earlier, and take your time so you get to school safely
