We are in full swing with teaching 45 adults to swim this year. Our lessons started on March 4th and will continue through April. April is designated as Adult Learn to Swim Month. We are proud to have these volunteers teach this year: Leah Aragon, Amy Browning, Allan Byer, Michelle Carpenter, Kacky Elliott, Bill Ewell, David Hall, Brittany Hillbert (alternate), Kristin Knowles, Mark Kothe, Carolyn Moore, Leslie Scott, Brenda Stephens.

Our friends from North Carolina put on the funnest meet. The Coastal Carolina Masters Invitational on March 23 in Bolivia, NC did not disappoint. It was really fun for seasoned swimmers and newbies alike with events like the 500, 200's, 100's, and 50's, and of course 25's. The relays were 25's with swimmers from other teams mixed together, and the infamous floatie relay was a blast!! Our team had so much fun, we all plan to go back next year.

May 27 Memorial Day

First Group Swim at Lake Jocassee. We meet at 8:30 am Devil's Fork State Park, in front of Eclectic Sun. You must be USMS registered and have a safe swimmer float. First time swimmers can fill out a 30 day waiver. We have extra floats if needed. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. We also love to have kayak volunteers.

June 1

Spring Workout Hours: The pool is now long course. MW 7-8 pm, TuTh 5:30-7:00 am, Sat 6:30-8:00 am, TuThF 8:30-10:00 am. Saturday workout will change to 10:00-11:30 am after Spring Break.

Kroc Center: MWF 6-7 am

GHS YMCA: MW 6:30-7:30 pm, MTuTh 5:30-6:30 am

We had a top three team finish at the Coastal Carolina Invitational meet from the fab five: Allan Byer, Carolyn Moore, Nicole Smith, Leslie Scott and Brenda Stephens

Kudos to these first time Masters swimmers for their stellar performances at the St. Patricks Day meet in Atlanta: Rachel Wrenn, and Jeff Deitrich.

Thank you so much to all of our swimmers that came out on Feb. 18 Greenville Splash Night to volunteer time at the State Age Group Championships. We had a fabulous turnout to help our younger swimmers. Your help was very much appreciated by Team Greenville.

We are beyond excited at the start our 2019 Adult Learn to Swim. Our team is full of swimmers that share their passion for swimming by teaching others to swim and be safe in the water. We are teaching 50 adults during the months of March and April.

Our next meet planning meeting is April 27th. We meet before Saturday workout to prepare for the Dixie Zone LCM Championships in June. It's a great feeling of giving back to our fellow swimmers around the country.
