We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Father Doyle Families,
Many of you likely remember the dear Mr. Rogers, of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. I recently stumbled across a short clip of Mr. Rogers in which he discusses education. “In every neighborhood, all across our country," he says, "there are good people insisting on good things for young people, and doing something about it.”
When I first heard this quote, I thought immediately of our teachers, but, as I considered further, it became apparent Mr. Rogers was saying something more profound. "In every neighborhood," he suggests, not just in every school or every classroom. We've all heard the expression "it takes a village," and perhaps it could also be said "it takes a neighborhood."
And so, I want to thank you for being a part of our "neighborhood" here at Father Doyle School. Thank you for continuing to insist on good things for our young people, for prioritizing an education that emphasizes the good, the true, and the beautiful every day, and for partnering with us in your child's educational journey.
Lastly, as we begin the Lenten season, we also introduce a new Virtue of the Month for the month of March. This month's virtue is mercy, caring for those who are suffering. You can learn more about the virtue of the month, including the saint studies for March and suggested home projects, in the Virtue Corner below!
Please continue reading below for more important information and announcements regarding the weeks ahead!

Morning Prayer Service
We are so grateful to have parents join us for prayer service in the gym each morning. It is a wonderful opportunity to come together in prayer as a community, which is an essential part of our mission and identity as a Catholic school.
We encourage any families who wish to join us for prayer service to do so; however, we kindly ask that parents staying for prayer remain in the rear of the gym rather than standing with their students in line during prayer service. Doing so assists teachers with taking appropriate attendance and helps students transition effectively into the school day. Thank you!
