CHS NJROTC Cadets Medal in 2023 Orienteering USA Nationals Competition
Chaparral High School NJROTC is proud to announce their national medalists, who competed in the 2023 Orienteering USA Nationals over Spring Break. The crew of 20 cadets and six chaperones traveled to Northern Kentucky for the competition.
OUSA Nationals Long Course Championships:
- Silver M-18: Aaron Matheson

It is now time to complete your Annual Family Update in your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This update is REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS RETURNING TO TVUSD FOR THE 23/24 SCHOOL YEAR.
Any student who does not have a completed Annual Update:
- may not be enrolled in a class for the 23/24 school year
- may not receive a schedule
- and may not be able to participate in school business days in August.

Proposed High School Science Instruction Materials Review
For the purpose of public review in the textbook adoption process, Temecula Valley Unified School District invites you to review the following science curriculum for the district’s three course NGSS model:

The Living Earth
Chemistry of Earth Systems
Physics of the Universe
The materials will be displayed beginning Monday, April 17, 2023 in the front office at the following locations during open business hours:

Great Oak High School
Temecula Valley High School
Rancho Vista High School
If you have comments or questions regarding the textbooks, an instructional materials review form will be available for you to provide input by scanning the QR code on the sign-in sheet.
If you are unable to view the materials at the above locations, digital access to the curriculum is available with the following link and is posted on TVUSD’s website:

If you would like to provide input regarding the instructional materials review, please visit the front office of your student’s school to complete the instructional materials review form using the QR code.
TVUSD Survey of Students
Between May 1st and May 26th, students at all TVUSD schools in grades 3-12 will be asked to complete a survey measuring student self-efficacy, self-management, and emotion regulation, as well as their perceptions of school climate, safety, and sense of belonging. The TVUSD Equity, Access, and Inclusion team invites you to attend the Elevate Student Voices events, where we will showcase and elevate student voices. These events are organized by region and are an opportunity for students, parents, and the community to learn the ways in which we can partner with our schools to help students reach success.
