Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, May 8th through 12th:
It’s that time of year again when we aim to wrap our incredible teachers and staff up in love and gratitude during Teacher Appreciation Week. We’ll be celebrating the second week of May and we have some suggestions of ways that each student can participate in showing some love to their favorite teachers/staff members.
Teacher Appreciation Week Schedule:
-Monday, 5/8: Bring teachers and staff their favorite school supplies or a gift card.
-Tuesday, 5/9: Send teachers and staff a thank you note or an email expressing your thankfulness.
-Wednesday, 5/10: Bring teachers and staff their favorite treat or snack
-Thursday, 5/11: Recognize your favorite member of our support staff (specials, electives, EC, AIG, ELL, intervention, counselors, admin, bus drivers) by bringing them something special.
-Friday, 5/12: Bring a gift in your teacher’s favorite color and/or dress down by wearing your teacher’s favorite color.
If you are looking for an easy way to show your teachers some love, consider donating to our Teacher and Staff Appreciation Fund. All donations will go directly to our amazing Kestrel staff. Visit https://tinyurl.com/donatekhcs to make your donation.
Also, look for our Appreciation Tree located in the hallway near the office. Students and families are invited to stop by and add thank you cards, notes, or art to let teachers and staff know how much they appreciate them.
