Just a few more days before school is back in session and we are ready for our Blue Jays to return. All signs point to an incredible and productive school year filled with positive outcomes for every student. Please encourage your child each day to display positive behavior.

Daily Attendance

Every day a student is absent is a lost opportunity for learning. Too many absences not only can affect achievement for the absent student but also can disrupt learning for the entire class. Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school

Arrive on time for school and class

Makes sure that your child doesn't miss out on the important learning activities that happen early in the day when they are most alert.

Homework

Homework helps students develop good study habits and life skills. Being responsible for completing at-home assignments helps students practice organization, time management, following directions, critical thinking and independent problem-solving

Communication

Please make sure that you stay connected. Your child's teacher will do a lot of communicating through Class Dojo. This will allow you to know what is happening in the classroom and your child's progression.

Parent Volunteering

Please considering volunteering in your child's class or the school from time to time. Not only would you be a great resource for the teacher and a solid support for the school community, but volunteering also demonstrate to your child(ren) and others that school is important and worth the time and effort.
