Join us for our winter themed family night on December 13th from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Food trucks Just Cupcakin' Around and Space Coast Gourmet Tater Tots will have food available for purchase. A portion of the proceeds support Challenger 7 6th grade students.

The Holiday Gift Shop will be open Monday, December 11th through Thursday, December 14th from 8:10 am until 2:00 pm in the library. On Friday, Dec. 15thth, the holiday shop will be open from 8:10 until 12:45 for those students who were unable to shop during the week.

Instead of pulling students out of class to shop, they will have the opportunity to bring their money during their Library and PE activity days. The holiday shop is a cash only shop, so please do not send checks or credit cards.

Students will receive a letter and a budget envelope which will allow you and your child to decide together how much to spend on gifts. Thank you for your support!

On designated days, parents/guardians can join their child in the courtyard for their assigned 30 minute lunch. The dates below are the assigned parent/guardian lunch days. Complete one survey PER CHILD for each lunch you plan to attend and include all adults that will be attending to make sure we have space. Click here to review the procedures and more information.

Space Coast Jr/Sr High School is hosting a VAP information night on Tuesday, December 5th at 6:00PM at Space Coast. The VAP program is the accelerated academic program.

Edgewood Jr/Sr High School is also hosting an informational night. Please see the attached documents for more information.

The second Wednesday of each month is Domino's Spirit Nights to support Challenger 7 Elementary. Grab some pizza on December 6th!

This year, Challenger 7 lost it's Title I status. This means that we did not receive additional funds as we have in the past. Last year, we received an additional $200,408 to spend on school supplies, family nights, curriculum, field trips, technology, and staff. This year we will not have these additional funds to spend.

Even though all students will receive free lunch this year, we need all families to complete the free/reduced lunch application. Even if you do not think you will qualify, please complete the application to help us earn our status and funding back for next school year.

All birthday treats brought to school must be store bought. For student safety, homemade treats will not be distributed. Did you know our cafeteria can provide a variety of birthday treats for your child? See the order form below for options and pricing. All orders must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the event.

We are a PBIS school. This means we have adopted a set of school wide expectations that define behavior expectations in and around our school campus and classrooms. Being a STAR student means being Safe, Trustworthy, Actively Engaged, and Respectful. When students are caught exhibiting one of these expectations, they earn STAR tickets which can be redeemed for various rewards.

We are continually looking for volunteers to help with school events, field trips, and other school needs. To become an approved volunteer complete the on-line Volunteer Application (https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/NjE6ZW4tVVM=) and then go directly to the BPS district office to be fingerprinted with District & School Security.
