IMPORTANT DATES IN AUGUST

KINDERGARTEN OPEN HOUSE

MONDAY, AUGUST 9TH FROM 4:30-5:30PM

This event is for all of our incoming kindergarten families. To keep everyone as safe as possible we will meet outside on the Valerius (at Jensen) playground. A cookie and bottle of water will be provided. Then, students will go with a group of teachers, and Mrs. Cole will present to families about the nuts and bolts of Valerius (at Jensen).

PARENT DROP OFF/PICK UP PRACTICE

On Thursday, August 12th we will be hosting a PRACTICE drop off/pick up session for our 1st through 5th grade students from 2:45-3:30pm.

Parents who plan to drop off/pick up can bring their students through our mock drop off line starting at 2:45. When students get out of the car, they will go to their designated entrance with supervising staff. They will have about 15 min. of playtime on the playground, before entering the building to start a practice PICK UP starting at 3:15pm.

I will send an email with more detail and specifics on Monday, August 9th, but wanted to give you time to put this on your calendar IF you are able to make it.

Again, this is for our 1st through 5th grade students only who have been through this process previously.

Classroom Assignments

Your child's teacher assignment will be emailed home on Friday, August 13th at 4pm. You will receive a welcome letter from the teacher that day as well!
