Celebrating God's Work in Our Students
KEEPING THE MAIN THING, THE MAIN THING
It was an AMAZING, WONDERFUL, EXCITING, FANTASTIC, INCREDIBLE day at CCS on Thursday, October 26th!
Two 3rd grade students, Zeke and Ella, gave their hearts to Jesus today!
AND
Upper School chapel service was filled with students sharing their hearts with peers!
We are so very thankful for the opportunity to see God working in the lives of our students and we always want to remember that no matter how great they become at spelling, or math, or anything else, giving their life to God is the most important thing they could ever accomplish!
ON FIRE FOR SHARING ABOUT GOD
Students have been on fire for God this past few weeks!
Several have voluntarily led morning worship, chapel services, scripture reading, praying with peers, and showing the love of Christ each day.
We are thankful for what God is stirring in the hearts and minds of our students as He raises a new generation to glorify His name and grow the Kingdom!
IMPACT THROUGH ACTION: CFA LEADER ACADEMY
Juniors and Seniors worked this week on their first service project through the CFA Leader Academy.
The Chick-fil-A Leader Academy is a national high school leadership program sponsored by Chick-fil-A Operators, focused on making impact through action.
In this project, The Million Book Giveaway, students worked to package books that will be distributed to young readers in the area. Each package includes 5 character books and a handwritten encouraging note.
Students in the CFA Leader Academy will participate in leadership activities monthly with Mrs. Yearwood. Special thanks to operator, Randy Ernest for making this program possible at CCS!

PUMPKIN PARADE
Lower School students did a fantastic job decorating pumpkins like book characters!
The parade of pumpkins was a great show of imagination and creativity.
GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
Are you ready to FEED THE NEED?
FEED THE NEED: School Wide Service Project
The countdown has started and we are just 4 WEEKS AWAY from Packing Day!
This week, WEEK 4, we will focus on praying about how to SHARE WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR!
In the story of Osmanpur's Home we get a glimpse of what life is like for children like we have been praying for and who we want to help.
The challenging questions with this story are:
- How would your life change if you lost everything? Who or what would you turn to?
- What does it mean to be the hands and feet of Jesus? When did you last give to someone in need?
As you read this story and pray as a family this week, pray specifically for Osmanpur's Children's Home.
Our scripture reference is taken from 2 Corinthians.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18
16 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. 17 For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, 18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
