Curtis Chronicles
Nov 8, 2021
Hello from Curtis Principal, Sonya Pitcock
Cougar families,
We are so proud of our football and volleyball teams for a successful season of grit and growth! It has been fun to watch them get better every week and fight back hard after a loss. Thanks to all our parents for the support of the coaches and students!
We are looking forward to kicking off the basketball season the week of November 15! Good luck for a safe a successful basketball season as well! Our golf team has been working hard this fall, as well, with great success on the course and we are looking forward to tennis starting up too! Good luck to our tennis students for a safe and successful season!
The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory play was a great success for our students and we are so proud of their months of work on the production. Congratulations to Mrs. Berger and the cast and crew on a wonderful, fun and inventive program!
We need a little help from parents with student dress code. We have seen an increase in students wearing pajama pants to school and would like to remind you that those are out of dress code and students will be asked to change if they wear them to school. Thanks for reminding your kids about this.
November 19 will be an early release day where students will be dismissed at 12:35 p.m. Buses will run at the earlier time to take students home at 12:35. A and B lunches will be at the same time and C lunch will be moved up to 12:15 so students can eat before dismissal.
We wish all our families a happy and safe Thanksgiving. We are so grateful for the support you show us as we work to grow your students each day.
Many blessings,
Sonya Pitcock
Principal, Curtis Middle School
