Registration for the 2023-2024 school year opened on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Families with a student who is entering kindergarten at Neshaminy can begin the process by visiting the registration website, www.neshaminy.org/register

National Couselor's Week
This week was National Counselor's week, so Tawanka took the time to show our appreciation for our counselors, Miss Donnely and Miss Pawlak!

100th Day of School!
Have you heard of the movie 80 for Brady? Tawanka’s Kindergarten class has their own version: Seniors at the Superbowl! Kindergarteners at Tawanka dressed up to celebrate the 100th day of school AND dressed to support our EAGLES at the Superbowl! We hope all of our old ladies and gentlemen had a fun day! Go EAGLES!

Ms. Wells and Mrs. Fedele's classes have been learning about different American symbols. The students were grouped together and drew one of the American symbols we learned about. We took their drawings and converted them to be printed on the 3D printer. The students had a blast being able to actually hold their drawing. They even got to paint their American symbol!

Ms. Atwater's class nominated Mr. Palmer to earn Lenny for the weekend! Lenny and Mr. Palmer had a very busy weekend together. They watched some outdoor hockey games before setting fireworks off! Thanks for sharing, Mr. Palmer!

Ms. Fisher's 2nd grade class partnered up with Ms. Broderick in the library. Students practiced paying and giving change similar to a real-life situation while checking out their books!
Third grade started our hydroponics unit. We set up our hydroponics system and “planted” romaine lettuce seeds. Did you know plants don’t actually need soil to grow? All you need is some water, some nutrients and a little bit of sunshine! Now we are working hard making observations and graphing our data. Just how tall will our lettuce grow? Stay tuned!
