Principal's Message
Thomas Tigers,
Please see the message below from our Physical Education teacher, Mrs. Burton:
“During the week of February 12, your child will be participating in our annual Kids Heart Challenge Campaign at Thomas Elementary. In Physical Education, your child will be jump roping to raise awareness of the benefits of living a heart-healthy lifestyle.
This program is developed by the American Heart Association and is not a PTO-sponsored event. Visit this website (unique to Thomas Elementary) for more information, and instructions on how to donate money to benefit the American Heart Association. Be sure to check out “Finn’s Mission”; we may have a chance to win $10,000 in gym equipment!
Of course, the collection of money for this event is completely optional and is not required for jump rope participation in PE. Your child will be bringing home a flier with more information next week, but there is no need to return any of the form/envelope attached (all donations are collected online). Please complete donations by February 23.
Thank you for your support!”
