Wiggin Street Parent Update

Dear Wiggin Street Families,

We are super proud of our Wiggin Street Battle of the Books Team earning 2nd place this week! This amazing team was led by Mrs. Stetler, our librarian, and she spent many lunches helping to prepare the team for the competition. Congratulations to the team, and thank you, Mrs. Stetler!

Being located close to campus has it's many perks, and one of them is the ability to take a walking field trip to Gund Gallery. The third grade enjoyed their trip to view some of the artwork in the 10-year anniversary exhibit entitled, Call-and-Response. They are also traveling with Kindergarten today to the Brodie's farm to view their little apiary and learn more about bee-keeping as part of the movement lessons with Kenyon dance students.

Lastly, I want to remind you all about the K-2 Spring Program on Tuesday evening, April 5th. The children have worked so hard to prepare for the mini-musicals, and I know you will enjoy the 3 performances. Detailed information should have come home with your student, but I've also included it below.

Save the date! Friday, April 22nd the Spring Fun Festival is BACK!!!

We will be needing donations of cookies, brownies, and Rice Crispy Treats for desserts in the cafeteria:)

Next FOW meeting is Thursday, April 7th @ 5:00 pm. This is a change from the originally scheduled April meeting due to the K-2 Spring Mini-Musical being performed April 5th.

This week we worked on overcoming obstacles and how to work hard even when things don’t go our way! The students made a human obstacle course and then worked as a team to complete their workout!
