We are excited to welcome back our scholars. Thank you for all that you do daily to ensure students are on time and ready for learning. The Spring semester is busy, and we want to ensure you are fully engaged. Monthly we will share important information for you to review as well as important dates for you to save. This month there are two events where we need parental participation. The first is our PTA meeting scheduled for January 26, 2023, from 5-6PM in the cafeteria and Assessment Night (3-5 grade parents only) scheduled for January 31, 2023 at 4-6PM in the cafeteria. Meet Kito & Felidia of New Era ATL! They are one of our newest community partners who specialize in community organization & outreach. They have access to tons of great resources and materials to assist not just the student but the whole family! You will be seeing quite a bit of New Era ATL in this second half of the school year as we partner with them on a few workshops. They also host their own parent/family workshop on everything from financial literacy to mental health! Welcome to the BES Team New Era ATL!

Please meet our volunteer of the month, Mr. Allen! Mr. Allen greets our Panther students each morning in the bus loop with a warm smile and makes sure they are ready to start the day. If you see him around the neighborhood make sure you give him a warm Panther welcome!

Meet Officer Lloyd! On Monday, January 9th we celebrated Officer Lloyd for National Law Enforcement Day! He helps to keep our school building, students, & staff safe! We appreciate his daily commitment to do so!
