Douglas County Counseling

Have the student log in to lm.tallo.com/go and choose ONLY the Dropdown: HS Internship - Presentation - they must have this submitted by the end of February. Once they have submitted their profile on Tallo, they will receive an email confirming receipt

In late March/April, they will get an invitation to interview (interviews at home high school). This is a paid internship - $12.40-$18.00

10 weeks starting June 1 or June 8

Juniors or Seniors (If they are graduating this spring, they are still eligible) 16+ years old

Counselors have been in 10th-grade homerooms showing students how to complete their Individual Career and Academic Plans through Naviance. If you were absent please go see your counselor for more information.

Each year in May, DCSD awards a scholarship to one senior from each of our high schools in Douglas County. Please support the DCSD Senior Perseverance Scholarship by eating at your local Chick-Fil-A restaurant at any time throughout the day on March 2nd.

DCSD has established a fundraiser called "Chicken for a Cause" for the DCSD Perseverance Scholarship that all of our Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the entire Douglas County (Parker to Highlands Ranch to Castle Rock locations - 7 of them!) are partnering to support this scholarship.

From open to close on Monday, March 2, mention this DCSD Scholarship at any Douglas County Chick-Fil-A and a minimum of 10% from your order will go towards the DCSD Perseverance Scholarship Fund!

The DCSD Perseverance Scholarship Fund allows the Douglas County School District to award one scholarship to a senior from each of our 9 high schools and each of our alternative high schools in Douglas County who have shown resilience and persevered through hardships to graduate.
