Principal's Message...
This Saturday marks the 20th Anniversary of the terror attack on the United States. I'd like to use this space to reflect, remember and honor:
- The 3,000+ innocent victims and their loved ones who died at the World Trade Center towers in New York City, at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and a field in Pennsylvania.
- The first responders who rushed into the burning and collapsing buildings without regard for their own safety in order to rescue victims.
- The members of the United States military who brought those responsible to justice.
On Friday, some of our middle school classes joined thousands of other middle school classrooms across the country in a webinar hosted by the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. They heard first-hand accounts of various experiences from that day and learned about how this historic day impacted America.
This is certainly a difficult time for all of us as Americans. Thank you for your continued support and have a great weekend. If you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.
Mr. Fineberg
Elementary Information
Keeping On Track: Quick reminder how critical it is to stay on track with assignments. If you have any technical issues or other obstacles, it's critical that you reach out and communicate with your child's teacher. It's a definite key to success at TC.
District Assessments: Reminder that students are currently in the midst of taking 3 assessments to measure their current achievement in reading (Literably and STAR Reading) and math (STAR Math). Please be on the lookout for these and be sure to provide your child with a quiet place to complete these assignments.
Middle School Information
Welcome Ms. Doran: We are excited to welcome Ms. Doran to our middle school TC family. She has assumed the role Ms. Lobato filled for those of you that were around in the past. She is our instructional aide and will be working with students in primarily the middle and high school, but will spend time at all levels working with students 1:1 or in small groups. Supporting academics, troubleshooting technology struggles, and providing organizational and executive functioning skills.
Keyboards: We received a number of requests for keyboards. Don't be shy to let us know if your child can use one.
High School Information
Science Labs: Our science labes are up and running. Students are welcome to attend in person (we've found that in-person is best for these classes if possible), or online. Oceanography and Chemistry are Tuesdays from 10-12 and Physics is Thursday from 10-12.
