MAKEUP
Makeup:
First, apply PRIMER to face and eyelids (there is no required brand - just FYI e.l.f. or NYX are good but inexpensive brands)
Eyes:
- Eye Shadow: Bottom of diamonds should align with bottom of nose (see picture in upper right corner)
- Red lines on RIGHT eye with rhinestones on top and bottom (like Morgan picture below)
- Dark purple diamond on LEFT eye (like Maya picture below)
- Outline diamond with gold pen, then with gold liquid
- Apply rhinestones - cover back of rhinestone with eyelash glue, place one rhinestone on each corner of the diamond and 2 between on each line (see picture)
- Apply mascara
Lips:
- Apply red lipstick
Last, spray with FINISHING SPRAY. (there is no required brand - just FYI e.l.f. or NYX are good but inexpensive brands)
**the use of primer and finishing spray is necessary to preventing the makeup from running down their faces when they sweat!!
SHOW HAIR
Show hair:
Students MUST choose from the following approved hairstyles: (see pics below)
- Ponytails with braids (singles or each double)
- French braids (braided all the way down - no loose hair
- Bubble braids (no loose hair)
- Space buns
Students MUST 1) wet hair, 2) apply gel before styling, and 3) finish with hairspray. We also recommend you blow dry their hair after spraying to solidify the hairstyle.
Ponytails, space buns, must be place high and towards the back/top of the student's head - leaving room for the headpiece. Parents are ENCOURAGED to help your students with either doing their students hair or teaching their student how to do their own hair.
- Pick a style and practice it with them at home - to either know how you will style their hair or so that they learn how to style their own.
- Parents are not only allowed but encouraged to go to the school on game days and competition days to help your child with their hair, if needed.
- On most, if not all, competition days students will be required to arrive with show hair already done.
Please remember that, as usual, guard members must bring their own hairbrushes/combs, gel, hairbands, bobby pins, and hairspray.

WG TEAMS: Auditions & Agreements
There will be two teams in the Spring. They will be in separate class periods. Mr. J will be providing information regarding auditions soon.
PLEASE NOTE that students who are invited to participate in the higher skilled performing group will be provided an invitation that includes two agreements - both of which must be signed in order to accept the invitation. Students are not required to accept the invite.
Should the student and parent accept the invite and, therefore, be scheduled for the course, the student and parent must:
- Sign an agreement acknowledging and agreeing to participate fully in all practices and competitions,
- Sign an agreement agreeing to pay back the program for cost associated with travel and accommodations to WGI Worlds should their student quit or fail one or more classes, making them ineligible to participate.
