Lunch
It has been great having visitors back on campus for lunch. Any visitor that comes on campus to eat lunch must be an approved contact for the student in OnCourse. A photo ID must be presented when signing in.
If you need to add a guardian/s, submit a “change request” in OnCourse. If you need assistance, call the office and Mrs. Browning or Mrs. Greene will assist you.
Competitive and Outside Foods
It is against Bossier Parish District regulations to bring outside food service items into the school cafeterias (example: food from fast food or other restaurants). Soft drinks are not allowed except in a thermos. Competitive foods are defined as any food or beverage other than the federal reimbursable breakfast and lunch school meals that are for sale to students on the school campus during the school day.
Thanksgiving Lunch
Due to the disrupted supply chain, Bossier Parish cafeterias are unable to supply all foods needed for a “traditional” Thanksgiving dinner. Therefore, we invite parents to come any day during the week of November 14th-18th to enjoy lunch with their students.

Canned Food Drive
The grade level that brings the most food will earn a neon dance party on November 18th.
Veterans Day
We invite all students to wear red, white, and blue to celebrate Veterans Day. Students will line the track for the Veterans Day Parade to celebrate our local Veterans and current military service members.
Veterans Day Parade and Assembly
We invite all Veterans and current military service members that are affiliated with a Stockwell student to join us for our Veterans Day Parade and Assembly on November 11th at 1:00. Please be here by 12:30 to check in and line up for the parade. If your student will have a Veteran joining us, complete the Google Form. If the Google Form is not complete by Wednesday, November 9th, your student will not be able to participate in the parade or assembly. More information will be emailed to everyone who signs up to participate in our Veterans Parade and Assembly.
We look forward to honoring all of our Veterans and current service members.
*Additional parking has been reserved across the street at the Fire Training Academy.
Christmas Pictures
Only students dressed in their Christmas best will be photographed. Children that are wearing their school uniform will not be photographed. These pictures are not pre-paid. A proof order envelope with payment instructions will be sent home two weeks after picture day.
Sibling pictures will be available. You will need to send $5 with the eldest child the day of the pictures.
Snowtastic
Save the date Friday, December 9th for a new event at Stockwell place called Snowtastic. Snowtastic will be held at the school from 5:30-7:30 pm. The night will be filled with entertainment, storytime with Mrs. Claus, winter crafts, BINGO, a silent basket auction, and a Christmas Night Market. This is a free community event.
More information will be coming later in the month.
Basket Auction
The Basket Auction will serve as our Fall Fundraiser. Each homeroom class will be assigned a theme. We are asking parents to donate items or money to purchase items for the baskets. A letter will be sent home next week that states the class theme and how you can contribute to making our Fall Fundraiser a success.
Christmas Decor
Are you getting rid of any old Christmas decor? If so, we would like to take it off your hands. We are seeking Christmas trees, wreaths, snowmen, etc. All donations can be dropped off at the school’s office by Wednesday, November 30th. We have a big surprise in store for our students!
Parents in Action
We are excited to announce that Parents in Action will have their own t-shirt. The t-shirt can be worn when parents volunteer at school or school events. The t-shirt cost is $15.00. Order forms will be sent home November 3rd. All orders are due by Friday, November 16th.
The next meeting for parents in action will be held on November 9th at 9:00 AM. We will discuss our newest event, Snowtastic and Christmas at Stockwell Place. Start thinking about how we can turn our school into a Winter Wonderland.
