LETTER FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Dear Bright Beginnings' Families:
Hard to believe--but we will be celebrating the 100th day of school next week. It has gone by quickly, but we have already accomplished a lot.
Next week, we have Parent Teacher Conferences. Please take that opportunity to appreciate the growth that has taken place with your student over the past few months and plan with the teacher on how to get the best for your child the last few months of school.
We are also continuing our recruitment planning for enrollment next year, as well as our transition planning for students that are heading to Kindergarten. One brief announcement concerning our Child Care for next year. We will no longer be offering split enrollment in both Child Care and Pre-K classrooms. This is due to the difficulty of transitioning and staffing adequate support for students.
Please make sure to utilize our Library hours to help find additional reading opportunities for your student.
As always, thank you for allowing us to serve your children . . .

A NOTE FROM MISS MELYSSA
I would like to focus on Connection this month of February. Connections are so very important as your children learn what it means to have releationships with close family members, school family, and others.
See the attached about the 4 elements for Connection. They are Eye Contact, Presence, Touch, and Playfullness.
Fun rhymes and activities help this too. Many have these 4 elements in them. We learn and practice them at school.
I encourage your family to add this "I Love You Ritual" called "Wonderful Woman" to your daily activities. I wonder what other types of songs and games you already play that are similar.
Keep doing the "good stuff" with your kiddos and I hope these little tidbits allow us to shift a bit and add in a different way to learn with children.
Well wishes to you all this February!
Thank you being a part of our Bright Beginnings Family.
Wishing you Well! ~Miss Melyssa
