Volume 4 Issue 6
What a great week of learning and connecting. So exciting. We have lots of events coming up, so please check out the details below.
If you are not currently following our Twitter account @tustinconnect, please do, as we send out lots of updates about what's going on throughout the week.
This week's background features our elementary students enjoying some time outside together during their break. It was finally cool enough this week to get back to playing outdoors.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or compliments, please reach out to Mr. Fineberg, our principal, at efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

Principal's Message...
I know I sound like a broken record, but it has been great having our students attend in person. Seeing the joy and camaraderie is awesome. Make sure to mark your calendars for the upcoming HS Student BBQ on Thursday, September 22nd from 11-1 pm and the Maverick Hangout at the K-8 campus from 12:30-1:45 pm for our TK-5 grade students.
For those who may have missed it, part of the enrollment process is to complete the Annual Data Confirmation for returning students. Annual data confirmation for returning students is where parents can review or change their contact information, select appropriate student authorizations, and review updated district materials.
To complete the Data Confirmation, please follow the steps below:
- Click on this Tustin Unified School District Aeries Portal link to access your parent portal account.
- Enter your email address and then password to log into your account.
- If you forgot your password, click on the "Forgot Password?" button and enter your email address to receive an email notification with a temporary password from Portal Help. Open the link in the notification and log into your Aeries portal with the password given. Update your password and return to the Aeries login page.
After logging into your Aeries portal, click on the “Student Info” tab, select “Data Confirmation" from the dropdown list, and complete the process.
As always, if you have any questions, compliments, ideas, and/or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out at (714) 430-2052 ext. 52103 or efineberg@tustin.k12.ca.us.

Dino Dash 2022
🦖 Dino Dash: TPSF Annual fundraiser will be on November 6th. The Dino Dash is a wonderful way for students and families to come together and raise money for TUSD schools. Many of the staff and students participate every year and we'd love to get a group of TC Mavericks together on race day.
- Register at https://www.tpsf.net/dinodash
- For each registration, $10 goes straight to your teacher's classroom for supplies.
- There's a virtual run available for families who can't make it or want to avoid the crowd.
- If you can't run, you can purchase a runnership to sponsor another runner in TUSD and $10 still goes to the classroom!
- We always need volunteers to run the event. If you are interested, please let me know.
