Boosterthon Fun Run Update!
Thank you so much for generously supporting our 3rd annual Fun Run! It was a huge success! The kids all worked so hard raising donations and running their laps. Collectively they ran over 9,000 laps! We are all so proud of them. With the kids hard work and your generosity we were able to raise a profit of over $33,000 dollars for our school! We look forward to put this money towards improvements for our school.
It’s Staff Appreciation Week! May 1-5 Here are some ideas on ways to say thank you!
Monday - Give a teacher/staff member a high-five/fist-bump & pay them a compliment
Tuesday - Bring a teacher/staff member a flower
Wednesday - Student/Parents send in a ’thank you’ note to your wonderful teachers/staff members
Thursday - Bring a teacher/staff member an item off their ‘favorite things’ list - watch for an email this week with staff favorite things
Friday - Freaky Friday! Kids dress up as teachers & teachers dress up as kids
Spirit Wear or red on Fridays Students will get a ticket each time and have the chance to win a monthly prize.

LOST AND FOUND
Looking for a fun and educational activity for kids and parents alike?
Check out the Schick-Ostolasa Farmstead open every Saturday from May 6 - September 30, 12:30-4:30pm.
Catch a glimpse of what rural Idaho life was like in the 1860’s. The Farmstead is an outstanding example of early homesteading in Idaho. It serves as an agricultural history learning center for the Dry Creek Valley through exhibits and site tours. The property sits on approx. 2 acres and includes the Farmhouse (one of the older intact houses in Ada County and the State of Idaho), Red House/Cook House, Root Cellar, Woodshed, Saddle Shed, Horse & Dairy Barn, Granary, Chicken Yard, Medicinal Garden and lovely grounds and gardens. Docents will be there to give you a tour and answer questions.
Please visit our website to see what special activities or events we might have going on during the various Saturdays.
