It has been a fabulous week here at IPS. We are grateful for our children and the way in which they are coming in to school happy and excited We were delighted to catch a couple of moments of fun happening at lunchtime today. - check out our facebook page for the videos.

We are looking forward to start celebrating Puanga next week, and also our first week back after the July break. Please come in and see us.

Some of you as parents may have received a REACH letter stating some actions your child has done which we are celebrating at school. We are sharing with you this news and offer an opportunity to celebrate with them also. Please know there is NO expectation that you as parents have to buy something to treat or reward your child. We are simply sharing their fantastic actions with you. We will modify the letter accordingly.

We have been very blessed to have the generosity of Diane and Raewyn from Life Gate Church knit beanies and beret for sixy of our children here at IPS. This is such a thoughtful thing to do. Keeping our children warm through the winter is very much appreciated.

We are finishing regular classes for all regular teachers at 1200 on Thursday to allow interviews to start at 1230. If you are able to pick your child up at 1200 noon we would appreciate that. If you are not in a position to do so, we will provide supervision for them through to 2:30. If you require your child to be at school in the afternoon, please call the office 7568040 ort email office@inglewood.school.nz

We are looking forward to seeing you at our Student Led Conferences next week. We have these after school on Wednesday 1 July from 3 - 7:45pm and on Thursday 2 July from 1230 - 5pm next week.

We are asking if you are able to pick your child/children up on Thursday from 1200 noon, that would be much appreciated so teachers can run interviews in the afternoon.

If you are unable to do this, please email us at office@inglewood.school.nz or call 7568040 and speak with Debbie or Mia, so \we can arrange supervision for the afternoon.

We appreciate your assistance with this.

Each interview is 15 minutes long. Please ensure you arrive on time to each interview.

Booking your interviews
1. Go to parentinterviews.co.nz, enter the event code D2P3TXG2 and click Go.
2. Enter your name, email address and the names of the students you wish to make bookings for.
3. Select the teachers you'd like to book by ticking the checkbox beside their name, and then click the Book Interviews button at the bottom of the page.
4. Using the timetable, click the Book button beside the time slot you'd like to book for the teacher. You'll be asked to confirm your booking.
5. Continue until you've booked all teachers.
Once you're finished, you can view your timetable by clicking My Interviews at the top of the page. You can also print a PDF timetable to take to your interviews.
Before your interviews, you'll receive an email reminder containing your timetable. If you need to cancel any interviews, you can do so by following the link in the email you received when you first signed up.
If you can’t book online line, you will be able to book via the School Office.

As part of our Student Conferences Wednesday 1 july and Thursday 2 July, we are welcoming whanau to come along and have some soup and homemade bread in the staffroom. We will celebrate an early Puanga / Matariki this week also as the actual date falls in the school holiday time.13 - 20 July.

Monday 20 July our finish time will move to 3pm

The Government is considering an additional National Holiday, IF by chance one of our days is chosen, we will make another day for the Staff Only Day.

We still have some chocolate money to be returned to the office. Please return as soon as possible to enable credits to be popped on your school accounts. We have a few more boxes left over if you would like anymore to sell. Thank you

So in an effort to raise funds, get people moving, and provide information I am hosting a FUNDRAISER event on Saturday 27th June (see attached flyer). This is a family friendly event. Alcohol will not be served.

Children must be supervised by their parent/caregiver. No children will be permitted to attend without an adult. Cost is $15 per adult. $10 per child.

ALL PROCEEDS GO TO BOWEL CANCER NZ.

This will be available at the gate and in classrooms for those of you who dont have the ability to download our School App. Of course, you will still be able to sign in at the classrooms if you don't have either app.
