Letter from Principal Lamothe
Hello PRS Wizards,
PRS was blessed again with another great week. Our 4th graders had a field trip to the Harvard/Peabody Museum while our 3rd grade had a visit from Abigail Adams. All this is with help from the PTO to enrich the learning of our students and add to the curriculum being taught in the classroom. Children were excited and enjoyed both programs.
Today is Veterans Day and we thank all those who have served, are serving or who are no longer with us but served our country. We thank you all for your service!! At PRS we held our annual ASM to honor those who fought and served our country. The honor and tribute offered to our veterans was said by others to be a great, "time to demonstrate to our kids how important it is to show respect and honor to our veterans" and this was also shared with me that, "our kids learned gratitude, empathy and community today and I can’t think of anything better." These words are inspiring as an educator and leader here at PRS that what we do everyday has an everlasting affect on the lives the children we have in front of us every day. Below is a copy of our ceremony which is password protected.

Birthday Book Club
PRS Birthday Book Club is back, and we are celebrating year- round! Be on the lookout for a flyer in your child's backpack. This year, we are asking that you submit your child's payment, form, and optional picture by the return date on the flyer, instead of during their birthday month. When your child's birthday month rolls around (summer birthdays are celebrated in June with the Birthday Book Club), they will receive a note to come down to the library to select their book. They will be the first to check it out- and it will have their picture inside if you sent one! A very special way to celebrate your child's special day!
