iReady Reading
Each week our students in 1st grade - 5th grade are expected to take two iReady Reading tests and two iReady Math tests. The district sets up challenge windows for all GCS students. These windows are typically 4 week periods. Our second challenge window started on Nov. 1 and went through Nov. 25. Students were challenged to take 6 reading tests and 6 math tests with a 70% or higher pass rate. If Rankin students meet their goal each week, they will have no problem meeting the challenge window goal.
Our students ROCKED on challenge window.

PTA Corner
We are so thankful for the continued support from State Farm’s Agent Adam Lee and his amazing team! Thanks to all who participated in their “like the page” challenge, we raised an extra $253 for our school!
We are so thankful for our generous Rankin Families who helped donate over 2,000 pounds of food to our Mount Holly CRO! Every bit of this food helps our neighbors in need right here in our city. Fourth Grade brought in the most items and received a pizza party!
