Do you have a special talent or skill you’d like to share? Maybe you play an instrument, sing, dance, hula hoop, cheer, tell jokes, or perform magic tricks. Here’s your opportunity to display what makes you special before your classmates and friends! We can’t wait to see which talents shine in 2024!

Managing Student Attendance.

If you would like to pick up your son/daughter early for an appointment, please pick up your child before 2:45PM. After 2:45PM, your child will be asked to wait with the other walkers, bus and car riders in his/her classroom, to ensure a safe and efficient dismissal for everyone.

To volunteer at a class party or chaperone a field trip, your clearances must be up-to-date.

If your clearances are current, upload them into the App Garden - Volunteer Tracker. If your clearances have expired, or you need to begin the clearance process, click on the Required Documents for the directions. For more information, consult the Human Resources Volunteer Required Paperwork webpage.

During physical activity, it is important that students wear proper footwear. Loose fitting shoes (i.e. crocs, moccasins, slippers, etc.) create safety challenges during recess and physical education class. For example, during kick ball at recess, crocs have flown off and we have had a few toe injuries during PE.

If your child has physical education class, or would like to play an active recess game, please ensure that they are wearing sneakers. Thank you!

Going into the winter season...

If there is inclement weather in our forecast, then there may be a 2-hour delay. Should that occur, please plan for the following schedule.

• Grades 1-6: 10:35AM - 3:15PM
• AM Kindergarten: 10:35AM - 12:20PM
• PM Kindergarten: 1:30PM-3:15PM

Families can access the online application for Free & Reduced Meals by clicking here. The application must be submitted each year AND for each child. If your child received free or reduced lunch last year, you must re-apply for the 23-24 school year.

We look forward to seeing all of the families who signed up to attend BINGO! There is a waitlist so if you are unable to attend for any reason please remove your sign up or contact GHSAinquiries@gmail.com

We still need a few more VOLUNTEERS for BINGO to happen. Please sign up here.

Doors will open at 6pm each night and the first game will be called at 6:30pm. Don't forget pencil, pen, bingo dotters, or smarties to mark your cards! We have a Surprise....A few teachers and/or staff members will be calling numbers for BINGO!

Please join us for the General Home and School Meeting in the All-Purpose room on January 30th at 9am.

Gayman Home & School Presents VIP & ME DANCE on Friday, February 9th at 6pm at Gayman Elementary School. Dress your best and be ready to dance the night away under the stars. We're looking forward to a fun, family DANCE!

Each Gayman Student attending needs an RSVP by February 2nd HERE!
