This Week at Windsor 4.16.2021
Teachers make a difference at any distance...
Windsor Families,
We had a busy week here at Windsor. We had Spring MAP testing for second through fifth graders. Thank you to the remote families for bringing in your children to test at Windsor. We had a group of second and third graders participate in our annual Noetic Math Contest. Finally, today we had bus evacuation drills in which our students learned about bus safety. We followed COVID protocols, by having one class at a time on a bus, windows down, and the students washed their hands when they returned from the practice. All students did a great job!
Drop and Go reminder, if you plan to park and get out of your car to collect your children after school, please park on one of the surrounding side streets and walk up. We have parents that are unable to leave as they are blocked in by parked cars. Windsor Drive needs to keep moving to ensure all students get picked up in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
Be sure to scroll through today's newsletter for the new lunch menu, information from our Department of Facilities Management, and new assessment information.
Have a wonderful wildcat weekend,
Mrs. Anastacio and Mrs. Soprano

Notes from the Health Office...
Hi Parents!
We are seeing an uptick in illness and seasonal allergies. These health issues often have the same symptoms of COVID. If your child has symptoms of COVID they can be tested in our COVID 19 testing clinic free of charge at Thomas Middle School from 3-4:30 every school day! You must make an appointment for your child (only for students in district #25 that have symptoms).
Here is the link:

Please remember to keep your child home from school and any siblings that have any COVID symptoms and contact me (your school nurse).
Thank you again for partnering with us to continue to keep Windsor School a safe place for everyone!
Sincerely,
Darlene Carpenter, RN
