6th GRADE STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT WATER CYCLES AND WATERSHEDS
As part of their unit on the Water Cycle and Watersheds, the 6th graders welcomed Kate Kelly and Sara Lovitz from the LCA to share their work and knowledge about stormwater runoff on the HCS campus. Students walked the grounds and used their knowledge of how water moves to track the path stormwater takes and how it directly and indirectly impacts the La Platte River and ultimately Lake Champlain.
