Early September

From the principal's office...

We recognized lots of students who displayed qualities of being a thinker or reflecting this morning. We love recognizing positive behavior! Next week, we are concentrating on caring for younger students and empathizing for older students.


We are still seeing people on cell phones in our school zone- our SRO, Officer Lipscomb, is helping us watch for that since it is such a safety issue.


Speaking of safety, we are having students being dropped off in the middle of the street on McRay. There are also signs posted on McRay that this is against the rules as it is a safety issue. Also, please remind your kids who walk to use the crosswalk where Mr. Joey is in the mornings so he can make sure they cross safely.


Our Slice the Price Domino's pizza fundraiser is still going on. Thanks for helping us raise money for our booster club!

Free food Tuesday!

The mobile food pantry will be ready to go on Tuesday! If you would like to swing through and pick up some free groceries, you will need to pick up your students who are car riders then come back at 3:30. We really need to get all of our kids picked up before we start this so it doesn't get confusing! If you have honor choir students, please pick them up on the side by the cafeteria/gym.

Masks

We have had to give out a lot of masks this week, and we are almost out. If any of you have any connections to free masks, let us know!

Morning Arrival

We are opening the doors at 7:20 this year- this means no students should be on the front porch before 7:20. There is no adult supervision before 7:20.

Registration Update

Just like last year, you need to update registration on-line. You should have received a letter this summer if your student was enrolled in Springdale schools last year with the log in and password. Part of this process is signing the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) that allows your student to use a device at school or take one home if needed. Visit https://rgupdate.sdale.org/login to update your child's information and digitally sign the AUA.
