Beveridge Middle School

Beveridge has many opportunities for volunteering. Please take a few minutes to look at all opportunities to see if you are able to volunteer some time at Beveridge. All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application with the Omaha Public Schools Human Resources Department. If you have some time, please consider donating your time to Beveridge.

Spring Semester Opportunities:

• Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) Member: Monthly Meeting
• Classroom Volunteer: Schedule with Classroom Teacher
• Scheduled Student Event: Full day events scheduled for Beveridge
• Lunch Monitor: Daily between 11:25 and 1:15 PM
• Hallway Monitor: Daily between 7:40 AM and 3:15 PM
• After school student event: Random throughout the semester

If you have any free time, please consider volunteering at Beveridge. We would like to build stronger partnerships with families and want parents and families involved in school and in school sponsored events. We value parent support and want to provide multiple opportunities for families to be involved at Beveridge.

Before you can volunteer at any school within Omaha Public Schools, you must complete the Volunteer Application and be approved through Omaha Public Schools Human Resources. All volunteers must have a completed and approved volunteer application through our Human Resources Department before participating in any volunteer activities. Before completing the application please, contact Beveridge regarding volunteering.

• For classroom volunteering: Contact teacher directly for how and when you can volunteer in the classroom. The teacher will contact the principal with this information and she can approve your volunteer application.
• For Library volunteering: Contact Librarian directly for how and when you can volunteer in the library. You can email our librarian at jill.annis@ops.org.
• For supporting supervision in hallways, cafeteria, before and after school: Contact Mrs. Tiffany Molina, Principal.
• For supervision of School Events & After School Activities: Contact Mrs. Tiffany Molina, Principal
• For volunteering to organize and participate on Beveridge Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA): president@beveridgeptsa.org
• For volunteering at After School Sports and Clubs: Contact Mr. Chad Wachholtz, Assistant Principal

Once you have an agreed upon plan with staff, complete the online Volunteer Application. Once this is approved, you can begin to volunteer at Beveridge.
