This week I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. JoAnn Brown to discuss peer coaching. As I was explaining to Dr. Brown the dynamics of Vanguard, she asked me "Why the name Vanguard?" The question took me by surprise, because I thought everyone knows about Vanguards and how meaningful they are in life. During my meeting, I looked up the definition of Vanguard: A group of people leading the way in new developments or ideas. Doesn't that definition describe who we are and what we do???

Peer coaching is how were are able to lead the way. Peer coaching is at the heart of what we are all about. I love hearing about the bright spots when peer coaching is successful. Keep up all the great work you are doing with coaching!... and don't miss the deadline to turn in COACHING CHECK 2 by FEB 28. Here is a reminder of the COACHING EXPECTATIONS.

Hello Vanguard New Members!

If you have not yet registered for the Spring course, please do so ASAP at https://itunesu.itunes.apple.com/enroll/CEK-BFL-DBL. The first two modules, comprising three assignments, are live.

Speaking of Teams, many of you are still not regularly checking in. Important information and useful Q&As are on Teams, so I strongly encourage you all to make Teams part of your routine. You can access it through Office.com/Launchpad, but my recommendation is to download the Microsoft Teams app on to your iPad and/or phone. You’ll get push notifications when new things are posted to our New Member team, so you won’t ever miss any important information.

The new points spreadsheet for the Spring semester has been shared in Teams, so go take a look.
