St. Anne School Family Newsletter
April 28, 2021
Dear St. Anne Parents,
As I look at the calendar and realize it is almost May, I would like us all to take a little time to acknowledge the efforts our students have made this year. They have kept their enthusiasm for learning, maintained their connections with their teachers and each other, and supported each other under difficult circumstances. Whether students have been Zooming or have been here in-person, I think we can agree it has been a difficult and strange year for all. Yet I look at our in-person students and they are still enthusiastic and smiling. Our Zoom students participate in class and chat with each other as if they have been doing it all their lives. I know that as parents you can take some of the credit for this! However, this week I hope you join me and our teachers in acknowledging that they have come through this year with flying colors.
5K WALK-A-THON - FRIDAY, MAY 14TH
The Walk-a-thon is just around the corner and we have raised nearly $35,000! Thank you to all who have logged into PledgeStar to enter your donations as well as contacts of family and friends for pledges. Great job - let’s keep it up! If you haven’t registered yet on PledgeStar, you can still do so to fulfill your donation goal ($150/student).
Please note a few of reminders to be completed before the walk takes place:
- Complete the VIRTUS training and LIVE SCAN fingerprinting. Please check with Mrs. Perez if you have any questions.
- If you haven't already, submit one permission form/student (this was due last Friday) to your child’s teacher
- Submit corporate match requests ASAP to ensure your employer has time to process and send payment to St. Anne
New for this year and due to COVID-19, chaperones and crossing guards must show proof of vaccination or consent to covid testing by May 10th. Vaccination records may be forwarded to Mrs. Perez. COVID testing may be scheduled with Mr. White.
Contact Pui Yee Law at law.aranas@gmail.com if you have any questions.
