News from Ann and Allie
- This is a friendly reminder that all students who ride the bus must be masked for the entire ride. Please remind your children to wear their masks if they ride the bus. Thank you!
- At Westgate, we are committed to building a culturally aware community. To support that work, we would like to learn about the family cultures at Westgate. Please take time to complete the Westgate Culture survey.
- On poor weather days, students can enter any door. It is essential that traffic not stop in the circle drive to get students closer to 3rd and 5th-grade doors. Vehicles should continue to pull forward, filling in all open spots.
- With the changing weather, please be sure to send your child with warm clothes (coat, hats, gloves). We will be going outside whenever possible.

The Westgate Whodunnit Is Back!
Oh no! Can you believe it? Even with Mr. Walton gone, one of the teachers of Westgate has stolen the new Westgate Wolverine Mascot yet again! Who would do such a thing?!?!
Are you a good enough detective to figure out Whodunnit? You will need to find out, Who did it? When did they do it? Where did they take it? Clues will be POSTED in five different locations to help solve this crime. The list of possible spots will be posted on our PTA Facebook Page.
Be sure to maintain appropriate social distancing while you investigate and please don't touch or remove the clue!
Search high and low for clues around the school and inside the parks that will mention either a suspect, time or location that wasn't used in the crime. You will need to search each location to make sure you don't miss any evidence.
Once you have figured out this mystery be sure to e-mail your answer and the members of your family to westgateptapres@gmail.com. Then visit the Westgate PTA Facebook page and post that you solved the crime (do not post the answer to the Facebook page!) We will then take all families with correct answers and enter them into a drawing to win fun prizes. DO NOT share the answer online or with anyone as we want to keep this fun going and give everyone a chance to figure it out.
Clues are located at all parks in the neighborhood and at the school!
The mystery will be available from November 8th through November 28th
