This week was short and sweet! Thank you for making the needed changes to adjust to our new school hours. Next week, we officially head into the month of March and will hope for milder temperatures to come!

Optional Dress Up Day on 02/28/22

On Monday, February 28th, we will host an optional dress up day-Twin Day sponsored by our PTA.

Let's finish this month of so many "2s" by celebrating with Twin Day. Pick a friend or two and dress alike!

IL Assessment of Readiness Grades 3-6

Testing will take place the week of March 7th. Students in grade 3rd-6th grade will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). There will be 3 ELA and 3 Math Assessments. All students will be testing on Tuesday, March 8th, Wednesday, March 9th & Thursday, March 10th. Any student who misses a session will be required to make it up upon their return. Make-ups will begin Friday, March 11th. If you have any questions regarding IAR, please contact Mrs. Green at greenl@ccsd15.net

We continue to support the health and well-being of our students each day. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. As we enter the 2nd half of the school year, I invite you to take notice of the things you see your child's teacher do, hear your child's teacher say, or the things you hear your child gush with excitement about related to their teacher. We've included this simple form for you to submit should you feel so inclined to do so. Children in full day school spend more of their waking day with their teacher than they do with their parents. We thank you for entrusting your child with us! This has been a good school year and your kind words mean more than you know!

Spring Orchestra Concert May 12th & Spring Band Concert May 17th

ORCHESTRA Concert will take place on Thursday, May 12th at 7:00 pm at CLA.

BAND Concert will take place on Tuesday May 17 at 7:00 p.m. The concert will be at Conyers Learning Academy Gym. Further details will be shared closer to the date. Please add these to your family calendars now. We look forward to performing live music for an audience!
