Welcome Back!

It was so great to see so many of your faces today. For those that are new to our Covington Community, welcome and I am so glad that you're here. For those that are returning, some from the summer and some from our Remote options, welcome back.

For those of you that are familiar with my messages, you know that I use the phrase 'Covington Community' every time. That is because we are all in this together. We are working together to provide the best educational experience for our students and that is what a community does.

I am excited that we are now all officially back together and for the great things that this year will bring.

I am sending this message today because we have just finished our first day of school. Please note that tomorrow, Thursday, August 19th is a full day of school. Additionally, moving forward, we will have our weekly Covington Connection emails sent every Tuesday afternoon.

Covington 'Boo Hoo' Breakfast

We hope that you can join us for our annual 'BooHoo-Yahoo' breakfast. This event will is this Friday, August 20th at 8:45 A.M. It will take place in our Multipurpose Room just after drop-off. It is sponsored by our amazing PTO and we will have pastries, coffee and juice. It is a great opportunity to meet other families as well as hearing about great ways to get involved.

Please note that you must enter through Door 1 for this event.

Covington Open School Open House

Join us this evening for our Covington Open House! This is a wonderful opportunity for our families to see the school and to connect with our wonderful staff. Classroom teachers will have presentations for the upcoming year and all staff will be on hand to provide information on how we work to provide the best educational experience for our students.
