With the end of the school year swiftly approaching, the pace of life at the middle school is picking up. With sports and clubs, we are seeing so many students extending their school day to participate in meaningful activities. Additionally, we have academic events that traditionally frame the end of the school year that will be in place as we begin to see the semblance of a return to normal (please refer to announcements below).

Considering the traditional ebb and flow of the school year, this year has proved to be no different as we typically see spikes in student behavior at the end of the school year. As families, I ask that you take note of this, and specifically consider the impact that student use of social media outside of school can have inside of school. If we are providing students with a consistent message around smart social media choices, it allows for them to come here to work and focus on the work and not the backdrop of social media interactions. We really appreciate the partnership in working with students on establishing healthy online behavior.
