Dear Parents and Carers,
What an amazing week of sports we have had in school! Each morning, we have started the day with either Zumba, Yoga or the Daily Mile. Thank you to all parents and carers who came to school early to join in with us. It was great to see so many people there taking part. Throughout the week, the children have also accessed many different sporting sessions in school and they have thoroughly enjoyed learning new skills, being part of a team and having fun in the sun!
KS1 WW2 Dress like an evacuee
In Key Stage One, the children have been learning all about World War Two in their History lessons and today, they came to school dressed as World War Two evacuees. All of the children looked absolutely amazing! Throughout the day the children have reflected on how the evacuees may have felt and they have captured feelings and emotions in black and white photographs. To end the day, they also spent time outside doing sports and games children of their age did in wartimes.
