Calling Any and All Theater Buffs!
Mrs. Cacko and Mrs. Hinkle are entertaining the idea of putting together a spring musical for 2023. However, it takes many hands to put together a production at the Middle School level. If you have any talents whatsoever (we know you do!), please consider joining our drama(tic) team! Email us at drama@fatherandrewwhite.org if you might be interested in helping us out in any way. No applicant will be turned away!
We won't get started until the new year. However, some preliminary planning meetings may be needed to get the program started after our 3 year hiatus!
Thank you for your consideration!
Clergy Appreciation
We are grateful for all of the clergy who assist our students and staff at Father Andrew White School! A big thanks goes to our supporting church pastors, Fr. David Beaubien (St. Aloysius), Fr. John Nguyen (Our Lady's). Fr. Ryan Pineda, (St. Francis Xavier) and our very own Deacon Joe Vavrus!

Notes from Nurse Rose
Cold and flu season is upon us and there are lots of "bugs" out there! As a reminder, if your child is feeling sick in the morning, please keep him or her home to rest up and feel better! Definite indicators of needing to stay home are temperature and stomach issues. Before returning to school, your child should be fever free (temp below 100.4) without having taken fever-reducing medicine for 24 hours, and should not have had any episodes of vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours. To reduce the spread of anything contagious, please remind your child to cover coughs and sneezes and wash hands often. Lastly, remember the basics: sunshine, fresh air, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and most important, prayer!
Looking for Service Hours?
Book Fair Volunteers Wanted
It's almost time for our Book Fair and we are excited that the Book Fair will be set up in our library again this year. The Book Fair will be held from October 27th - November 4th. We are looking for volunteers to help each day. This is a great way to earn volunteer hours and to be able to see the great selection of Scholastic books that will be available to our students and families. If you are able to help or have any questions, please contact Mrs. Hinkle at hinkle@fatherandrewwhite.org.

MANY REASONS AND WAYS TO GIVE
Do you know that there are many forms of gifting to Father Andrew White School? We are accustomed to donating by cash or check. But the school can also accept gifts from Donor Advised Funds, Gifts of Stocks and Bonds, IRA Qualified Charitable Distributions, Corporate Matching Gifts, and final bequests. These gifts are facilitated by the Archdiocesan Office of Development but are donated in full to the designated entity.
St. Aloysius will be hosting a meeting on October 13th at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall to discuss these avenues in detail. It is open to anyone who might consider gifting to any Archdiocesan Parish, school or charity. In the meantime, check the “Donation” section on the parish website for a brief description of each type of gift.
